I thought it might be the port/board/programmer/cable, but I can successfully flash the Blink sketch to the genuine Uno without issue. I'm unable to flash Grbl on the genuino Arduino, but I can flash it on the knock-off. I have two Arduinos, one is a genuine Arduino Uno R2.
